The Rose

Power of one

Seek and you will find ask and it shall be given sayeth the Lord! , I say Man carries his demons with him !! Was Joan right did she hear voices and were they from God I cannot answer it but her death rallied France.. So it is a lesson that the power of one cannot be doubted. So lead your life as an inspiration to others love is a key.

So much blood upon the rose …you might wonder why I am looking at agincourt as an obscure past well my perception of it is this Agincourt is the stepping stone to the young girl joan of ark the 16 year old virgin who spoke to god and was to save France this vision she said was from God and she went to convince the boy king to step into his great position with a conviction of greatness and to know he is favored by God. She speaks to the king and he lets her lead the army into battle to defeat the english she is later captured by the English as burnt as a witch a heretic for she claimed to be sent by God.

Education is the key to a brighter future and learning the past reveals past follies and allows a chance to address past failures

Wars

wars of religion , wars of greed , wars of dominion oh so many reasons men find to kill one another. Or maybe they simply enjoy the power that killing gives and to be glorified by it and that for men to be awe struck at the beheading of nine hundred in one day is perverse. To assign and sanctify the deed as good and to ignore the pain inflicted. The cross an example of innocence and cruelty coupled with humiliations. Oh the psychopath lives well in his castle of smoke and mirrors and fear becomes his weapon and his defense for evil attracts evil to beat upon the walls and press into the crowd to assassinate. A domino effect creates an ever-growing storm which circles like a bird of pray to masticate upon the dead.

The Rose

Upon your grave I wept

The perfume  of  the rose has  gone

Across time I  travelled for love

A dream or a nightmare held me

Everlasting love of the undead on the battlefield

A  reincarnation  in a world  of  possibilities

Thinking is the blueprint and magic is the reality

Real or imagined we rise, and we fall

Love makes life possible even in the moments of war.

I visited this battlefield of the WW1 when I was in France. I am so often struck by the landscapes and where the men stood. I am not sure why!  I need to know the battle history only and except that we are human.

The fields

I walked the fields and saw the ants

I walked the fields and saw the grave stones

I walked the fields and saw the sun

I walked the fields and set my watch

I thought of time and how it was in that other time

The grass was rough it covered the trenches

Those holes where men cringed in horror

I walked the fields and I sat to hear the distant cries

I laid down in the grass and felt the prickle on my back

I brushed that ant who dared to fight and left a sting

I laid down and grass grew through my fingers

Now in my dreaming I dissolved into the ground to lay silent

I had walked  the fields but now I lay in greener fields

I watched the clouds and fixated on my time

I dissolved into the ground and all was colour

I had walked the fields of time.
